Why Meditate?
Meditation is not about getting rid of thoughts but learning to meet them with kindness.

This morning’s letter finds me enjoying a lovely pre-holiday visit with my family in sunny San Diego.
Well, it’s crazy to think that as I write today’s letter there are only 23 days left in the year 2024. A year none of us will forget. Or will we?
Over the next 23 days we will make our ways through the holiday season, living our lives hopefully to the best of our abilities.
What do you want to see happen differently in your life in the year ahead?
What do you want to remain the same?
And when will you give yourself the time and space to really think through your goals, hopes and dreams for 2025? Keeping in mind that waiting until January is like trying to hop on a train that is already traveling at 30 miles an hour.
I have shared here in the Victory Letter many times what an advocate I have been for the last 10 years or more (honestly, I have lost count) regarding the power of a morning meditation practice. I like to call it Morning Momentum because the elements of this practice does just that for me. It is during this time that I do most of my hoping and dreaming.
For this week’s video I explore a closer look at ways you might grow through meditation. And if you do already start your day with a practice, ways you might start to enhance what you are already doing.
What if your 2025 started off with the commitment to start your day taking care of your beautiful mind first? How could that change the story for you for 2025. It’s worth a listen don’t you think?
Since this is my last day here I am off to play for one more day. Hope you have a great week ahead as we get closer and closer to Christmas!
Onward we grow,
Cheri
