Wealth Check-In

There are people who have money and people who are rich.  – Coco Chanel

How do you count your wealth? Is it by the numbers in your bank account or the overall happiness in your life? Or perhaps a combination of both?

There is the saying that money cannot buy you happiness. It can for sure help you sleep better at night when all is well in your financial world. I do believe however that the truest and deepest of happiness comes from the state of mind when your financial world is in alignment with the rest of your life.

With that here is my definition for wealth:

Work. Doing work each day that ignites your passions.

Energy.  Creating an energy within that empowers you.

Anxiety free. Most days, in every way.

Love. Giving, receiving and spreading it around.

Time. Embracing our truest and greatest commodity.

Health. Because as the saying goes, health is wealth.

This week’s video is Ed and I ‘s adventure in planting a tree. Some fun and information around tree planting as we carry out our September tradition of adding another tree to our property.

Perhaps the greatest of all wealth is the people we get to spend this life with. I want to pay homage to a dear friend’s mom that left the planet this past Friday. There are people we meet along our way that impact us for our entire life, my friend Cathy’s mom, Marylou Iman, was one of those people. Marylou your infectious laugh and smile will be missed.

I also want to give a shout out to my godson and nephew Jack who turns 25 today!

With that my friend I wish you a great week ahead enjoying the wealth of all you have been given.

Onward we grow!
