Put It To Bed

Sometimes you just have to put things to rest. Not because they don’t matter, but because they do.

All of our moments can change us. Sometimes the changes make us stronger, sometimes weaker, sometimes smarter, and sometimes the change is so slight we hardly even notice.

Sometimes when we are truly feeling our emotions, and are not sure what to do with them, it can feel like life has been put into pause mode.

Change, though hard to bear in moments when your heart is hurting, makes life, life. No guarantees, and no promises. I think this is where gratitude and awareness comes into play. Being honest with yourself and others with all the feels so that the feels can feel and allow forward movement.

As we look towards a new year… What if we didn’t carry unnecessary baggage into 2025 with us? What would it be like to feel the feels and take action accordingly. Leaving the unwanted baggage behind in 2024.

This week I am sharing a video I had fun making sharing my excitement to start planning for gardening in 2025. It’s never too early to dream…

What is your word for 2025? A word that helps you to keep focused and true to yourself.  A word that you can always come back to when you get off track.

My word for 2025 is Flow. I want to remember to allow things in my life to flow at a pace that brings me and those I love and care about happiness.

When we shared our words for 2025 at our family Christmas dinner my niece reminded me that flow is in the word flower. And now I love the word even more because flowers are truly one of my favorite things.

I hope you have time over the next couple of days to put time in putting 2024 to bed as you plan and await the happenings of the new days coming towards us in 2025.

What will bring you joy?

What will bring you peace?

What will bring you happiness?

Because when we are happy individually, we can become happier collectively.

Share with me your word for the year I would love to cheer you on.

Here’s to happiness and light in 2025!

Onward we grow,

Cheri
