Naughty or Nice

Dear Santa, I can explain…

So, there I was trying to explain to Santa that indeed I should be on the nice list not the naughty list. However, through some technical glitch (or so I thought) there I was, on what I perceived to the be the wrong list! Or was I?! Has that ever happened to you?!

Perhaps being naughty is actually being nice in some circles. Yeah, I am going to go with that because after all who gets to decide. Santa?  The Elves? Mrs. Claus?  Or is there a team out there in cyber space deciding on this?

All tongue in cheek of course as todays Victory Letter is about not taking it all too seriously. I shared a video on TikTok (@cheriruskus) and Instagram (@victorygirl) the other day that got quite a reaction.

Most especially from women who are feeling the stress of being too nice and are TIRED. Mainly because being too nice can mean way too much on your plate to make the holidays right for everyone else, but you. I would say that is being naughty to yourself.

And with this lighthearted approach into Christmas I hope that you are finding ways to make your spirit light. And finding the joy this season can actually bring.

In this week’s video I share how I came to finally getting my holiday decorations up way after the trending time frame had us getting them up this year. I hope you enjoy as my little Christmas gift to you.

Remember as this letter goes out, we are less than 48 hours from Santa and the millions of mostly women who actually do his work of bringing smiles to so many. Please remember to have fun if that is you, and to say thank you as appropriate if someone else is doing all the work for you.

Most importantly do what you can do, with love in your heart, and let the rest go. After all what can be so bad about being on the naughty list? Merry Christmas!
