Lets Go

The race begins the second you start,

You have been preparing for this moment

with your mind and your heart.

There were those who said you could not do it,

And those who knew you could

You believed those believers

just as you should.

Keep focused on the race now

it will take all you have to give,

Here we go into wrapping up the month of July this week…wow, that was fast.


The weeks ahead mark the beginning of my race towards getting the Grow Circles new round of coaching programs put fully into place. What is ahead for you?


While a couple of vacations are sprinkled in August for me, they will be wrapped around my desire to run my best race in my business.


So that percolating I mentioned last week, needs to now turn into action steps at a very strong and focused pace.


Now I could panic because the timing of these vacations may not be ideal (one is around a wedding and one to help a dear friend with a bucket list item) but you know what? I think they will allow me to run my best race by having some breaks in between to rest and be at my best.


With the Olympics as an inspiration, today’s letter started off with one of the poems that begin each chapter in my first book, The Victory Letters – Inspiration for The Human Race. My hope is that the words will inspire, over the course of the next five weeks, putting our best foot forwards we each look at what would be the best to unfold in our lives as September rolls towards us.


The race you would like to run.


There are five segments that I outlined in the book to running a race.


1. The Starting Block – The dream begins. Where we are right now. This is where we take the dream that matters a great deal to us and strategically run with it. Making the clear intention for what we want, giving that idea a clear goal to fully see where the finish line will take us towards.


In the upcoming weeks we will power up by looking at …


2. Endurance – Staying on Your Path

3. The Hurdles – Accepting the Challenges along the way

4. The Competition – Finding your Lead

5. The Sprint – Holding Your Momentum


And the 6th week we will celebrate with

6. The Finish Line – Reaching Your Goals.
