Joyous Actions
As we head into the last couple days of the year, the word ‘Joy’ has become the theme for my holiday so far. From it being the single word on the cover of our family Christmas Card to going out and seeing the movie Joy the day after Christmas, it has become something much more than just a word.
The movie Joy is the true story of a woman who pushed past a ton of struggles to make her invention a financial success. Through the process, she became an entrepreneur focused solely on making life better for her family.
This is a story I hear day in and out - especially from women. Those women who have a passion to do something out of the norm and yet still be there for their kids, aging parents, and other family members who need them.
The key as the movie so well orchestrates is about having the courage to get it all done, even when others say you can’t. Pushing past the obstacles that get in our way takes a whole lot of bravery and belief that you are headed in the right direction.
In fact as we move into 2016, I am going to be sharing more about this critical element of courage as it is the topic of my third book that I have begun writing. If you know of someone who has used their courage to make a difference on the planet by bringing their ideas, wants and dreams to life, I would love to possibly share their story in my book. If this resonates for you, send me an email at cheri@businessvictories.com.
Fully utilizing our courage can drive us to action. As Gandhi shares in today’s quote, action absolutely expresses what really is most important to us in the moment as well as the coming hours, days, weeks, and months in this bright and shiny new year ahead.
Things are going to happen in the next year that will totally out of your control. The action that each of us takes despite the pitfalls is what will make the difference.
There are all kinds of advice flying around this time of year about how to set resolutions and goals that will actually get achieved past the first few weeks of January.
Here is where I think the real secret lies in making the action happen…
The key is in setting yourself up for success and anticipating where you might trip yourself up. Pay attention where you have fallen down, in order to anticipate how you can best get yourself up or avoid falling down again.
You know that in order to stay true to an important health goal, you need someone in your corner to keep you accountable. This could be a health coach, personal trainer, or someone who is going to not only encourage you but also give you solid advice and steps to take to get you moving forward. You have to find the support you need.
When it comes to those of you who are business owners, we have a few spots left in our year-long Master Mind programs to help you implement and stay accountable for the goals that you have set for yourself.
Depending on your needs, we are focusing on Marketing with our Marketing Mastery Program or developing stable business health and a positive mindset with our Business Immersion Program. Together we can bring your visions of the new year to life.
Tomorrow (12/29) at 9am MST I am hosting a free webinar to close out the year and to help you during this critical week of planning for the year ahead. The topic is Digital Trends for 2016. Would love to have you join us!
This year I invite you to try out this idea of taking big steps full of joyous actions in order to take you where you want to go. With the support and accountability to fully make it happen, your actions will be filled with joy.
Wishing you all the great things life has to offer in 2016!
