How You Feeling?
Time stays long enough for anyone who will use it.
- Leonardo da Vinci
How is it going with 10 days of the new year nearly come and gone? Isn't it amazing that time seems to be going as fast in the new year as it was in the years we called 2022, 2021, etc..
Last week I shared with you that my word for this year is happy. I also shared that my mantra is: I create magic when I am happy. What I didn’t share, was how I want this to make me feel.
I made up this little sign this week that I put up in my office to help remind me of how I want to feel with the all the goals I have set for my year ahead. Yeah, I want to always be the happiest person in the room. Measured by my own metrics in how I feel inside my own skin.
Because you better believe it, in order to be the happiest person in the room I have to be happy to begin with. And the more happy people in the room (and world) the better we all feel.
So how about you? How do you want to feel the majority of the days that you walk through in 2023. Do you want to feel illuminated, creative, inspired, adventurous, caring, loving, and oh so many other ways that there are to feel?
This week’s letter is a temperature check to ask yourself just that. How do you want to feel most of the time when you are going after your goals and intentions. How will you insure that you are using your time wisely for yourself and those whose lives you impact.
Who can help you feel that way? What support do you need along your journey? This week’s podcast may just help as I share 101 Reasons Why You Might Want to Hire a Coach.
Now this podcast is geared towards my entrepreneurial friends, but I believe it can help all of us look at our lives a bit differently. I also share why I myself decided to become a coach in the first place all those years ago.
With that I wish you happy journeys as you move into the week ahead!
P.S. This morning as I looked up from my morning momentum meditation spot I saw these paper whites cascading over the drawing my sweet Bailey did for me when she was a little girl. A reminder yet again to stop and smell the flowers.
