Have you ever started one project that led to another and another and another?
This past weekend with the idea of getting a new bedroom door to replace the older one that opened in a strange way, my husband and I opened up a whole can of worms.
When my kids were little, I remember the phrase used around their elementary school of better, better, best. That is how home, or life improvements for that matter can come into play. We start to make something better and realize that with one more element, and another, and another your project can become the best it can be.
We are heading into the third week of this new year and perhaps some of your goals or intentions for the year have taken on a life of their own. Looking different than you originally imagined. Leaving you to dig into something you hadn’t even imagined to be completed in this way, shape or form.
I am happy to report that my bedroom has taken on a beauty I hadn’t even expected or imagined for that matter. And as I write this mornings letter the final results have are still unraveling. I have high hopes for the positive energy the new changes will make.

This week on the Bright Shiny Object Project Podcast I have as my guest Tina Larsson who is the CEO of the The Folson Group based in New York City and Author of the new book, Living the High Life. Tina is also a fellow participant with me in my weekly improv group, so it was wonderful to discover more about her journey. This woman is a go getter that definitely lives the better, better, best philosophy and then some!
Today we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who was driven by making the world a better place for others who were being oppressed. He believed in basic human rights to the point of giving up his own life for the cause of freedom. A truly heroic human being.
