Consistently Confident
Because whatever we do consistently is usually what we are confident in.

Happy Monday!
This morning I am writing this week’s letter under the light of the full moon setting over the mountains. I snapped a picture for you to see what I got to see out my office window. A lovely way to start the week.
Here is today’s question to ponder... What is the thing or things in life that you do most consistently? You could say things like breathing. Which is the most consistent thing we do until we take our last breath.
However, what are you really confident at besides the basic human functioning we have to do in order to maintain life each day?
On Saturday night Ed and I headed into Denver to see Phil Lesh and Friends in concert at the Mission Ballroom. Phil was a founding member of the Grateful Dead and is now 82 years young. While he was a bit late getting himself out on the stage, he and his band jammed it and gave us a beautiful night of fun, dancing, and going down memory lane with some of the classics.
Of the many beloved songs he shared, his tribute to David Crosby with the song Carry On didn’t leave a dry heart in the house. David Crosby’s son was even there, playing keyboard. Wow, what a night.
Can't help but think about how the consistency our greatest rock and roll legends have brought to the table has been a blessing to so many in so many ways.
To be able to live your life consistently being able to do the work and play that you are passionate about is probably one of the greatest gifts we have available to us. Yet at the same time brings challenges to keep the passion and the confidence going to fully discover what it is and then to continue to do it well.
Consistency helps us to see if what we desire is truly our passion or if we are a legend only in our own minds.
In this week’s podcast I share more on this topic of being consistently confident.
It is when our confidence falters that we can allow our passions and along with that our gifts we bring to the world, to die. Or as someone recently shared with me, to keep our gifts hidden in our own little cave where no one can see them but ourselves.
And today, as a reminder that confidence is accessible to each and every one of us, I am again opening up A Course in Confidence at the special price of just $47. This online programs gives you the prompts and tools to dig deep in discovering more about building your confidence in order to become your best self.
Remember doing something over and over, again and again, with passion, belief and tenacity brings the purest form of confidence. And the question then becomes what might be stopping you towards finding or sharing your greatest gifts because of lack of confidence?
I hope that this week provides what you need to enjoy the journey.
