Happy Monday!

What makes you different and unique? When you look in the mirror who do you see looking back at you? Is it the same person you feel you are on the inside? Or does the mirror surprise you, perhaps even make you take a second look because you don’t recognize that person you see?

Okay I know that is a whole lot of questions for a Monday morning or whenever you are reading today's letter. However, they are important to ask yourself to make sure you are on track when it comes to the confidence you feel inside and project to the outside world.

We all have had those moments, do doubt about it, when we are a bit uneasy about that person looking back at us in the mirror. And that is why I am once again spending this upcoming month of February talking about upping our confidence game here in the Victory Letter, on the podcast, and over on Instagram as well.

The reason simply being that confidence is a top mindset benefit in living a happy, productive life.

Success in business and life really comes from focusing in on the things you are really good at doing or want to be good at doing.

One area where the lack of confidence can pull the rug out from under us is in business marketing today is in making videos. The ease of producing a video is now actually easier than putting our faces in front of the camera. And the truth is that people want to see the people behind a business and what makes them tick.

And oh, so many small business owners and entrepreneurs hate the fact that they must now get in front of that camera they are carrying around with them. But those who have fully embraced video are winning the game in marketing today.

This week on the podcast I am delighted to have as our guest a colorful colleague and friend I met a number of years ago while teaching a workshop up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jackson Hole Rose and I had a robust conversation about creating authentic video. A challenging thing to do when you are not feeling authentic because you are not feeling confident. Take a listen.

So, what is one thing this week that you want to be more confident in pursuing. Where could you shine a little more self-love? And who can help you in your pursuits and in your belief in yourself? In fact, who could you help and support in the process?
