Creating a Garden Indoors

“Just chill and learn at the pace you need to learn.”

– Fran Gallagher

Try Chilling

Yesterday I had a meeting with an Intuitive Leadership Coach, and she shared the words of today’s quote during our conversation. Because you know, just like so many of us I am consistently trying to insure that I am fulfilling my purpose for the breaths I take here on the planet.

Without a doubt we are living through a crazy time. I find myself waking up each morning saying what can I do to make the world a better place and stop all the freaking insanity.

Living your calling and purpose is no easy thing and doesn’t go away just because you get older. Perhaps it gets even more intense because there is less time. Especially because we have so many choices living in the amazing freedom that we do. Hearing these words yesterday afternoon to contemplate just chilling and learning at the pace I need to learn removed some anxiety from my plate.

When you feel like the damn is broken and you have to fix every single crack…well it’s freaking exhausting. I have hung around plenty of entrepreneurs and mothers, most especially entrepreneurial mothers, in my lifetime to know that life can start to become only about fixing the cracks. First however you have to learn how to fix them, which at times can seem like the most exhausting part. And I continue to discover that it doesn’t have to be so hard. Especially when we ask for help.

And that my friends is why I garden. Because I can fix what I can and leave the rest to mother nature who truly is one of my besties. She is a hell of a support system on most days. Though she can let me down to be sure when she serves her wrath (grasshoppers!) And I have to accept the circumstances to be what they will be.

I hope that you are enjoying the extreme beauty of the fall season. The changing of the leaves here on the Front Range of Colorado has been absolutely magnificent this year. We have had a slow, enjoyable, beautiful fall season with still no first frost!

Take it in stride as you move through this week and my friend be sure to get out there and vote. Our freedom is really counting on it this time around.

Onward we grow,

Cheri
