Trick or Treat
The calmer we are the more we can hear. - Ram Dass
There is something about the stillness that begins to happen this time of year. As the earth begins to take a rest here in the northern hemisphere. The thought of it makes me smile and feel the quietness that this transition brings. A time to prepare for going inward where there is so much to explore.
That is my wish, treat if you will for you this Halloween, to not be fearful of the quiet but to embrace what it may bring into your life.
Much gratitude to Tamar Stone for her incredible teachings that I participated in during the course of the Practitioner Empowerment Training over the last four days. The many facilitations and teachings I experienced has me arriving here on this Hollow’s Eve feeling peace and gratitude for the work I get to do each day. For the ability to call my own shots and live the life I choose, while assisting my clients to do the same.
The greatest reminder is to not be fearful of change and the ability to spend more quiet time with yourself. There is an acronym that has been circulating the last few years of having F.O.M.O. – fear of missing out. I like the new rendition I recently heard of J.O.M.O. – joy of missing out. Allowing some clearing in your life so you can actually hear yourself think, as the saying goes.
This Halloween I have no plans, no need to dress in costume. Just the plan to listen to the quiet and enjoy this time of the season right here at home. So, I will just allow my little character below (mini me) to do the dressing up. :)
Enjoy the day as you prepare to welcome in the month of November!
