Mistakes Happen

There is always a gift in every mistake. – Meridith Grundei

Have you ever found yourself in a situation that you asked yourself, How did I get here?

Well yesterday as I continued to battle this ongoing situation I am having with 100’s of grasshoppers in my garden, I thought how did I get here? Because let me tell you being a grasshopper warrior is not an easy job. In the numbers I have them, most definitely not for someone who is not 100% committed to keeping their garden alive.

Each of us are handed challenges along our way and it really is how we handle them from mistakes we make, to taking on the variety of challenges that life throws our way.

Here is more of my grasshopper story and how I am handling them organically.

When is a mistake really a mistake? I believe the answer is left to the eyes of beholder of the mistake, if in fact they actually want to resolve the problem. What do you think?

Here is an analysis of a better understanding in dealing with a mistake:

Makes you stop to recalculate.

Imagine the solution that will make it right again.

Stop blaming yourself or others so you can move forward.

Take the needed time out to find a solution.

Attitude (positive) through it all is key.

Keep your head above water.

Enjoying what you can when you can.

So, as we carry on here in the month of August what are the current mistakes around you that are potentially helping you and which one are hurting you? I do know I am spending much more time in my garden with these little grasshopper foes around as I find solutions that are not toxic to all the bugs in the garden. I will call that good for now. How about you?

Onward we grow!
