“No one has ever accused me of not being enthusiastic.” – Linda Vater

Happy Monday!

Q2 has arrived and spring along with it! Springtime here in the Rockies can be challenging if you don’t come after it with the right enthusiasm. Going from 60 degrees over the weekend with time for some robust gardening, to predictions of snow shoveling for tomorrow.

Where does your enthusiasm find you heading into the second quarter of the year? As fast as time goes by, I like to think of the year in quarters with this one taking us into April, May and June. Such beautiful months of the year.

With it I have to admit something to you. I recently became addicted to a new TV show over on Prime called Daisy Jones and the Six. The story of a rock-n-roll band from the 70’s derived from a fictional book of the same name. Not sure if it’s my fondness for the 70’s (the decade I headed into my adulthood), my love for rock-n-roll, or the cast of characters that are just magic together.

Since becoming addicted to the show that ended after 10 episodes, I learned more about the cast of characters and began to love their story on and off screen even more. From Riley Keough the granddaughter of Elvis Presley who believe it or not could not play an instrument or sing before this acting part, to all the other lovely on and off screen characters who make up this fictional band.

This fictional band who ended up cutting an album that has gone beyond the boundaries of the tv screen and have hit #1 on Billboards Emerging Artists list.  All because a woman took a chance to write a book, Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine Production company along with Amazon Studios, brought together an amazing group of talent to share each other’s gifts, enthusiasm and chemistry.

I feel like enthusiasm will always do that when you put the right cast of characters together in make believe and in real life.

Speaking of that, I am delighted to share with you a delightful personality this week who is one of my favorite TV and real world gardeners, Linda Vater. Linda shares on the Bright Shiny Object  Project podcast which has been entitled, Game Changer, how she uprooted her home and business of over 30 years at the end of 2022 to create a new home and garden. And…she is taking her 150K You Tube followers along for the ride, yours truly included!

In our conversation Linda shares how her enthusiasm has guided her and her love for Bright Shiny Objects as they carry her through the dull boring ones!

Because remember Bright Shiny Objects aren’t bad things just good things that need time, space and the proper direction to bring them fully to life. And boy oh boy does Linda have direction! I believe you will find her enthusiasm addicting as well. 🌻

Wishing you enthusiasm that you find addicting in a good way as you move through your life and business today and through these next 3 months ahead.
