Confidence is Crucial

Green is my favorite color. Always has been and I am beginning to believe at this point that it always will be. Why? Not really sure I just know it brings me joy and in that there is a great ROI, better known as return on investment, whenever I am around the color green. Perhaps that is why I love gardening as much as I do.
Each of us gets that return on investment for so many things we do in our lives and that is what keeps us moving towards our goals and dreams. When there is no perceived ROI we can lose our interest and hope for a better today moving into our tomorrows.
Today, as I write this letter, it is the first day of February. With that, what is the ROI you want to see for the shortest month of the year? In other words what is the value you will bring in exchange for the value you want to receive?
In business we mainly talk about ROI as the exchange for some kind of financial value. Today I am thinking of it similarly to the treats I give to my sweet pooch Luna. If she is calm and sits when she sees that I have one of her favorite treats in my hand, a carrot will be her ROI. So she responds accordingly and receives the delicious treat which makes her a happy camper.
Here are some other ways to think of going after the value you want to see in your ROI:
Vigilant patience that allows you to better understand if the time is or isn’t right.
Answer the complexities ahead in order to come to a resolve for any problems lingering.
Leverage your talents and mindset to gain clarity on your needs as it relates to you and others.
Understand that there are many ways to do things, what will your way be?
Energize yourself by believing in what you want with all your heart and soul and going for it.
A huge component in all of this is having the confidence to go all out for what you want and need in your life as it stands right now today. All this month I will be sharing stories and podcast guests around this topic of Confidence.
