Breath of Gratitude

I didn’t come this far to only come this far.
— Jesse Itzler

Do you ever find yourself working too hard?

You know the drill, you get so obsessed about what you are doing that it’s hard to come up for air.

One of the reasons I am compelled to go to conferences as I just did again recently is because it gives me the ability to stop and take a breath. To stop and assess my business from the outside looking in.

Stepping away allows me to fully appreciate the work I do as I learn ways to do it even better.

This week here in the U.S. we have another opportunity to step away and take a deep breath as we relax and enjoy the people we are grateful for in our lives and celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving.

It is also a good time to take a deep breath before heading into the final 5 weeks of the year.

What I love about this time of year is the ability to stop and acknowledge what has gone well in this past year and to be honest about what could have been better.

This allows us to make shifts and adjustments as necessary before the new year is in full swing. The goal is always to stretch and grow either a lot in some areas or not so much in others.

In this week’s podcast, Your Victory Assets Portfolio, I dig deeper into this tool I use to take an annual assessment of where you are sitting in your business as the year comes to a close. Be sure to download your free pdf worksheet as well.

Some things may surprise you and some will remind you of all that is ahead of you because of the work you have already done.  Focus on your achievements, acknowledge your missteps and get ready to be even better in the year ahead.

During this upcoming week as you pay homage to the things you are most grateful for in your life, stop and fully reflect on the elements you have in your life that will best propel you forward.

With great appreciation for you and what you bring to the table I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving week as we take a mutual deep breath of gratitude.
