Awesome Sauce

you are the only person on earth

Awesome is one of my favorite words and feels like the perfect one to start with for 2015.  After all, isn’t the bottom line in making goals and creating positive energy at the beginning of the year about living the amazing life you want to live?

In fact, I got an idea this morning as I began writing this letter to you. It was about having an “awesome sauce” that you just poured on everything that you wanted to be awesome.

One form of awesome sauce? Filling every room you enter with a warm smile.

Another form of awesome sauce? Creating a dream and vision, along with a plan to make it happen. An awesome year begins with awesome plans. Sure, things will happen that are unexpected. The great news with a plan is that it puts us back on track to where we really want to go - awesome land!

Interestingly enough, one of the definitions to the word awesome is, “impressive and frightening.” In fact the definition of awe is, “fear mingled with admiration or reverence.”

Keeping that in mind, the coolest things that we look back at in awe in our lives are usually the ones that initially had us the most frightened when moving towards them.

What are you in awe of doing over the next 360 days? Hard to believe, but 5 days of awesome are already gone!

Basically, what scares you like crazy when you think about doing it in the year ahead? Something that you know when the year is done it will be fantastic achievement as you say, “WOW, I’m awesome for doing that!”

Think about the bravest moments in your life so far when that awesome sauce (and no, I am not talking about whiskey) was there and ready for you to take the leap of faith necessary to bring you the ultimate happiness you were striving to achieve. How did it feel?

Our focus here in the Victory Circles for January is all about committing to our goals for the year. We always redefine our Definite Chief Aim in our business as we move into the New Year, and use it as the mighty sword that defines our Awesome sauce.

For me as I look into my 2015 Definite Chief Aim, it still remains strong and consistent. My Definite Chief Aim is to Empower Entrepreneurs to Climb New Heights
