A New Puppy

"Everyone thinks they have the best dog. And none of them are wrong."
– W.R. Purche

Hope that your Labor Day weekend was just what you wanted it to be. As I shared in last week’s letter, we had quite an eventful week with my husband’s retirement celebrations and our family coming together. Many wonderful memories were made and for that I am so very grateful.

And…the icing on the cake was that we got a new puppy! Yep, sweet Abbi whose picture is above joined our family. She is a rescue puppy and this Tuesday morning after Labor Day as I write to you, I am wondering if we rescued her or did she rescue us?

When extra love is brought into our lives in any form there is an enhancement of our deepest self that happens. Yesterday as I looked into her beautiful little face a new love for her filled my heart. And that my friend is a good thing.

As we head towards the harvest moon this coming weekend and the Fall Solstice just a little over two weeks away, think of the love you can gather towards you in a harvest all its own.

Wishing you lots of love in the week ahead. And if you feel you are wanting some additional love in your life … go out find some like we did with our sweet little Abbi. There are plenty of people and animals who could use the love you have to give.
