Your Message Matters

Let the Universe be ambitious for you.
— Marianne Williamson

When my children were little I would say quite frequently “sharing is caring” over squabbles in playing with each other’s things. It always fascinated me how many times they would not be interested in their own things until the other one showed interest.

This comes to mind in thinking about how we share the best part of ourselves with others. Whether you are looking to gain a new job position or seeking to grow your business.

In the many workshops I facilitate around the subject of creating marketing tools, the topic of sharing great content always comes up because it is such a critical element in the world of marketing today.

How we share our message with others is simple and complex all at the same time. Especially when we want to inspire them enough to take some kind of action.

The reality of course is that no one wants to be sold to.

However, as humans we like to buy things, it’s just the being sold to part that we don’t like. With this in mind, it's no wonder that many who find themselves running a business are conflicted when having to sell to others.

This is where sharing a caring message comes in to play and is the best part about marketing today. By meeting people where they are, as opposed to where we want them to be, we tend to listen and engage a whole lot more.

Think of your audience as taking a journey from the best part of them to connect with the best part of you. That’s where the really cool things happen. It’s like unwrapping a present to find beautiful things inside as you determine if you are a fit for each other or not.

When I get a new client, while I am happy that I am keeping my financial balls up in the air by doing so, I am way more delighted about the opportunity to create a new relationship.

Business relationships allow for collaboration as we both discover ways to take the clients business authentically to the next level. Sometimes help is only needed for a single session. Sometimes help involves becoming their coach and confidant for multiple years depending on where they want to take the business.

I share some elements of the business coaching I offer through my weekly messages of inspiration to you. What do you share through the messages you give to your audience on a regular basis?

Together, here’s to sharing messages of Victory!
