Mutually Beneficial

It’s more important to be interested than interesting.
— Jane Fonda

What comes first, the chicken or the egg?

What comes first, money or time?

What comes first, social media or the website?  How about email marketing?

These are the questions I hear all the time in my work as a Business Coach.  The answer to these questions is always… yes.

I believe there are 3 key elements in having a successful business. When you can fully tie these 3 elements together on a consistent basis (a lot like breathing) they work in unison to become mutually beneficial to you and your business.

Imagine creating amazing products/services that leads to people connecting with your brand and as a result… you build an awesome community!

Sounds great to me, how about you?

Create

This is the juicy part for an entrepreneur. Learn how to tap into the flow of your own creativity as well as the team you create around you (because you can’t do it all on your own). Then learn how to manage that creative flow as you keep it consistently going from here to there everyday. This includes the elements of your products or services, to creating the buzz that attracts people to those products and services.  Always keep your business fresh with creativity as you go.

Connect

You have to find a way to connect with other humans in order to be successful in business. Yes, it’s mandatory.  Depending on your business model, with who and how you connect will vary. For me how I connect the most through social media is through Instagram (@victorygirl), then email, phone, and speaking engagements. This Victory Letter is also my joy to connect with you on a regular basis.

Community

The tribe you form around your business is your business.  What does your tribe look like and why do you like them? Why do they like you? My tribe consists of entrepreneurs (most with at least two years of business under their belt) who are looking for inspiration, specific systems to use  and marketing tools to increase their overall business results.

Getting Results Activity

  • Get a piece of paper and pen.

  • Make 3 vertical columns and label them Create, Connect and Community.

  • Under Create, what are the products or services you are creating for the future?

  • Under Connect, how do you connect (in person, phone, email, social media, etc)?

  • Under Community, describe your tribe.

  • What column do you feel is your strongest?

  • What column do you feel is your weakest?

  • What would be the overall result you would love to see happen in each column?
