Connect New Levels
Imagine what the world would look like if we eliminated blame, shame and even the guilt that comes along with judgement of ourselves and others. The question is it possible to eliminate this kind of thinking?
This month in the Victory Program we will be talking about the power of Cooperation and I thought it was important to first think about cooperating with ourselves first.
Recently I took a four-day deep dive intensive facilitator training digging into what is called Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of Selves. You know those inner voices we carry in our heads that are usually running the show.
I took the training to better understand myself and to assist my clients who can end up stopping just short of the dream and the goals they want because of too much negative inner dialogue.
One of the cool tools I learned in this training was something called the “Aware Ego Process.” Think of it as a way of keeping the voices in your head under control and finding the good in every fiber of your being and thinking.
What if you wiped the slate clean of the negativity you feel in any given day? Think of it as a negativity eraser. One of the traps you can find yourself in, especially when working solo, is letting the negative part of your inner voices take over to the point of destruction of your beliefs, hopes and dreams.
An advantage of having a partner in life and in business is that you have perspective from another human being to help guide your inner thoughts. That too however can be a slippery slope requiring the right combination of people and egos that allow everyone to be fully heard in a positive way.
The key is to allow the thoughts that are not serving you in any way shape or form to come to the surface and let their angst be heard once and for all. Almost like letting them into the sunlight.
Love yourself first.
I don’t know about you, but I really do love the sound and possibilities that brings. A great solution to this problem is in how you value yourself. When you fully value yourself first you can then connect with others at a whole new level.
Have a great week!
