Celebrate Yourself
Think of the moments in your life that have given you a cause to celebrate. Sure, there are the holidays we celebrate such as the recent 4th of July here in the USA, our birthdays, etc. There are also grand life milestone events such as weddings, graduations, etc.
Now think about the reasons we give ourselves to celebrate because of shifts and changes we have courageously made within ourselves. Perhaps one of the biggest reasons to have a self-celebration is when we face our fears head on in order to do something we have wanted to accomplish for a very long time.
Last week I was asked a question about my business which was - What would you do if you were 10x braver?
Wow! This simple question actually stopped me in my tracks to stop and evaluate where I am headed and why. While I am in the business of helping my clients find victory in their businesses, I had to ask myself, was I really finding enough reasons to celebrate? Am I reaching and growing in this phase of my own business?
It is really important to pause long enough periodically to ask ourselves that question.
Over the course of the past 30 days I have watched two colleagues have cause to celebrate because of the achievement of writing and publishing a book.
Having written two myself with another one on the drafting table for way over a year now I know how much work, time, and energy such an effort can take! What a celebration when all the work is done, the fears of how it will do out the world are faced and the book is finally launched.
One of these authors is sharing this week from the juicy contents of her new book, Celebrate! An Interactive Journey Through Life’s Invitations.
Join Jani McCarty and I in this brand new podcast episode as we discuss what it takes to be on your best courageous journey. I promise you some insights you have not thought about before.
Here’s to an amazing week ahead finding plenty of reasons to celebrate!
